Certified Renovator Refresher Training required every 5 years by DEQ, Cost $120 Class size limited to 10. YOU MUST SUBMIT A COPY OF YOUR CURRENT CERTIFICATE WITH REGISTRATION OR PRIOR TO THE CLASS DATE.  IF YOUR CERTIFICATE HAS EXPIRED YOU MUST TAKE THE INITIAL CLASS AGAIN.  Oklahoma DEQ is not honoring the EPA mandated 1 year grace period.   You will be required to take the RRP Initial training if your certification expires.

Lead Safety Training by Neil Brown of EnviroHome Inc.  for Lead-Based Paint Inspectors, Risk Assessors, Abatement Supervisors, Abatement Workers    YOU MUST REGISTER TO ATTEND TRAINING PRIOR TO START OF TRAINING

Lead-Based Paint Inspector course presents EPA model curriculum covering LBP inspection protocols described in HUD guideleines and EPA regulations for both single-family and multi-family housing together with current research findings. Includes lectures, demonstrations, hands-on training, and develop an understanding of the advantages and limitations of a variety of  lead inspection techniques as well as methods of implementation.  Covers paint, dust and soil as well as pre-inspection planning.  DEQ Accredited Continuing Education hours: 24 Cost: $825

Lead Based Paint Risk Assessor course presents the EPA model curriculum covering the lead-based paint risk assessor protocols described in the HUD guidelines and EPA regulations for both single-family and multi-family housing. Includes interpretation of LBP inspection reports, risk assessment decision making and report preparation.  Explains how risk assessors can present both interim control and abatement options to control hazard found in lead-based paint, lead-contaminated soil, and lead-contaminated dust.  DEQ Accredited Continuing Education Hours: 16 Cost: $550

Includes lectures, demonstrations,  hands-on training, and supervisors/contractors will learn specific techniques for abating lead-based paint as well as lead in other media.  Emphasis is placed on worker health and safety, clean-up and waste disposal.
