May 20, 2024, 9 a.m. Oklahoma Energy Auditor-3-Part Session Registration
*Week One-Monday, May 20th -Friday, May 24th* *Week Two-Monday, June 24th-Friday, June 28th* *Week Three-Monday, July 22nd -Friday, July 26th* Energy Auditor training will provide the groundwork for new/existing weatherization workers interested in understanding and expanding their knowledge of weatherization. Topics covered in this course include “House as a System”, “Energy Movement”, “Calculating Envelope Energy Loss”, and much more. The curriculum for this course is aligned with the NREL Job Task Analyses (JTAs). This training session is primarily in class with additional technical training in advanced blower door diagnostics, a review of current installation methodologies, and combustion safety instruction. Class participants will also get actual in-field training performing an energy audit. A knowledge quiz will be given after each module and students will be required to pass a final exam on the last day of training to receive a certificate of completion.

This Lead Renovator RRP Initial Certification course is 8 hours in length and includes approved lead safety training and the required certification exam. Any contractor performing qualifying renovation, repair, or painting (RRP) work on pre-1978 homes or child-occupied facilities must employ at least one Certified Renovator who has successfully completed this training. *Cost for this course per person is $400.00*
May 29, 2024, 9 a.m. Qualtiy Control Inspector-May 29th-May 31st Registration
Quality Control Inspector certification, you prove that you can verify the compliance of retrofit work performed based on work plans and standards, conduct audits and inspections using diagnostic equipment, and can develop reports that specify corrective actions to achieve whole-house performance. *Candidates must be Energy Auditor certified and successfully challenge the QCI online exam to become Quality Control Inspector certified* BPI Quality Control Inspectors must recertify every three (3) years. The cost per person is $795.00

Energy Auditor will inspect buildings to assess current energy use then make recommendations to The Energy Auditor course provides in-depth information on energy audit terminology, principles, and skills for calculating cost-effective building shell retrofit strategies and generating work orders. The course follows the Department for Energy's standardized curriculum for Energy Auditor - Single Family and has been modified to align with the National Renewable Energy Laboratory's (NREL) Job Task Analysis for an Energy Auditor. The structure of the course includes lectures, discussion, and practical experience through hands-on skill sets. *Does not include certification exam* *Does not qualify for Oklahoma Energy Auditor certification* The cost per person is $3,000.00

Retrofit Installer Technician installs energy-efficiency measures to single-family or 24 unit-homes using a variety of building science best practices to improve, safety, comfort, durability, indoor air quality, and energy efficiency. *The cost for this course per person is $2,150.00 per person*
July 18, 2024, 9 a.m. Blower Door / Zonal & Duct Testing - July 18th-July 19th Registration
Earning the Infiltration and Duct Leakage (IDL) certification is a simple, comprehensive, and affordable way for builders, remodelers, HVAC, insulation, and other contractors to gain the skills needed to offer duct leakage and blower door tests, in compliance with IECC codes for new home construction or existing home remodels. By earning the IDL certification, you prove that you can conduct duct leakage tests to the ASTM E1554-07 standard and blower door tests to the ASTM E779 standard * The cost of this course is $750.00 per person*
Aug. 5, 2024, 9 a.m. Building Analyst Technician-August 5th- 9th Registration
The BAT provides detailed learning and practice of building inspection, data gathering, diagnostic testing, energy conservation measures, HVAC systems and health and safety inspections. Upon completion of this training class, students will challenge a 4-hour proctored field exam in order to gain the BPI Building Analyst Technician certification. *Prerequisite: Building Science Principles Certificate* BPI Building Analyst Technicians must recertify every three (3) years. Aug. 26, 2024, 9 a.m. Crew Leader Comprehensive- August 26th - 30th Registration
Comprehensive Wx Crew Leader / Installer Training (4 day course) is focused on learning basic weatherization processes, policies, and requirements based upon ODOC, DOE, BPI, and OSHA rules. Upon 80% successful scoring of the final exam for this course, a "Certificate of Completion" will be mailed to the registrants. CEU's will be gained through this course, which are valid towards BPI National Certification requirements for continued education. *Cost for this course per person is $1,995.00*
