OWTC Cancellation Policy: Cancellations less than seven calendar days before the class begins will incur a cancellation fee of $150.
Energy Auditor training will provide the groundwork for new/existing weatherization workers interested in understanding and expanding their knowledge of weatherization. Topics covered in this course include “House as a System”, “Energy Movement”, “Calculating Envelope Energy Loss”, and much more. The curriculum for this course is aligned with the NREL Job Task Analyses (JTAs).
This training session is primarily in class with additional technical training in advanced blower door diagnostics, a review of current installation methodologies, and combustion safety instruction. Class participants will also get actual in-field training performing an energy audit. A knowledge quiz will be given after each module and students will be required to pass a final exam on the last day of training to receive a certificate of completion.

Any contractor performing qualifying renovation, repair, or painting (RRP) work on pre-1978 homes or child-occupied facilities must employ at least one Certified Renovator who has completed this training.
