Cancellations more than 48 hours before the class begins will receive a full refund minus a $50 administrative fee.

CAZ stands for Combustion Appliance Zone and it is the area that your water heater, furnace, wall/floor heater, and/or boiler is located as well as your gas fireplace, gas stove, gas oven, gas broiler, and even your gas dryer to a lesser degree. CAZ testing by a trained technician to make sure these gas appliances are working safely.

The curriculum for this course is aligned with the NREL Job Task Analyses (JTAs). This training session is primarily in class with additional technical training in advanced blower door diagnostics, a review of current installation methodologies, and combustion safety instruction. Class participants will also get actual in-field training performing an energy audit. A knowledge quiz will be given after each module and students will be required to pass a final exam on the last day of training to receive a certificate of completion.
