his Lead Renovator RRP Initial Certification course is 8 hours in length and includes approved lead safety training and the required certification exam. Any contractor performing qualifying renovation, repair, or painting (RRP) work on pre-1978 homes or child-occupied facilities must employ at least one Certified Renovator who has completed this training. *Cost for this course per person is $400.00* RRP Cancellation Policy Cancellations less than 48 hours before the class begins will receive no refund. Cancellations more than 48 hours before the class begins will receive a full refund minus a $50 administrative fee. Refunds will be provided within 10 business days by the same method of payment used to register for the course.

This comprehensive training course introduces participants to WAPLink, a web-based data management and workflow tool used by agencies administering the U.S. Department of Energy’s Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP). WAPLink helps weatherization staff manage everything from client intake and energy audits to scheduling services and documenting work orders. The training equips users with the practical knowledge and hands-on skills needed to effectively operate the software in real-world program environments. March 26, 2026, 9 a.m. Combustion Appliance Zone (CAZ): 03/26 - 03/27 Registration
CAZ stands for Combustion Appliance Zone and it is the area that your water heater, furnace, wall/floor heater, and/or boiler is located as well as your gas fireplace, gas stove, gas oven, gas broiler, and even your gas dryer to a lesser degree. CAZ testing by a trained technician to make sure these gas appliances are working safely. May 5, 2026, 9 a.m. Crew Leader- May 5th - 8th Registration
Comprehensive Wx Crew Leader / Installer Training (4 day course) is focused on learning basic weatherization processes, policies, and requirements based upon ODOC, DOE, BPI, and OSHA rules. Upon 80% successful scoring of the final exam for this course, a "Certificate of Completion" will be mailed to the registrants. Air Sealing is a rigorous, one-day course emphasizing the importance of effective air sealing within the Weatherization Assistance Program. Focusing on known techniques and theory we will examine and implement how to detect air sealing opportunities and common leakage sites, determine appropriate tools and materials needed for air sealing, discuss air sealing guidance and best practices, and verify that an effective air barrier has been established. Course Description: Weatherization Attic Safety Training This comprehensive 2-day course equips weatherization professionals with the essential knowledge and skills to safely and effectively perform energy-saving upgrades within attic environments. Participants will gain a thorough understanding of potential hazards, best safety practices, and techniques for navigating and working in attics while prioritizing their well-being and the integrity of the building. Through a blend of classroom instruction and hands-on exercises, attendees will develop confidence and competence to execute attic weatherization projects safely and efficiently.
